About me

Here are some things about me:

1. I like to write - I write a lot because I like words. I like the shape of letters written in black ink on white pages. I love how certain words woven together creates magic. I write poetry. I've kept a journal for the past twelve years. I've written letters for the past ten years to different penpals. I've written nine+ stories because stories capture my beart, I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I didn't write.

2. I like to garden - And green things and dirt. I don't know why these two things make me so happy, but they do. I just can't help myself.

3. I like music -  All sorts. Baroque, Jazz, Rap, Hard Rock. My life wouldn't be as colorful without the songs.

4. I like art - The kind of art that reflects the beauty that is in all our surroundings.

5. I play the cello - and the guitar and the piano. I'm probably the worst at playing the cello, but I do play it.

6. I am constantly taking pictures of anything and everything - before I found that I could make my scribbles behave, photography was my pencil and paper with which to capture the everyday beauty surrounding me.

7. I like fantasy and daydreamy kinds of stories - because I haven't entirely grown up.

8. I live in the Pacific Norwest - And it's a perfect place, but I may be a bit biased. ;)

9. I love Jesus.

In my corner of the universe, I ramble about life - things that give me joy, things that make my heart ache, and everything in between. I do pictures, poetry, and wonderings about faith. Thanks for reading, and I hope you linger for awhile!
